Epic Cable Routing Pictures

Hey Brad-  Here are those pictures of the cable routing for the Epic.  Yeah I have the same exact boat as you have just I got mine with the rudder.  I have no Idea why they would sell it without a rudder.  Don’t get me wrong I love the boat, it’s fast and sleek.  Wilderness Systems could have put just a little more thought into the hull design to make it track a little better.  I guess that could have been one reason why they only produced the Epic for two maybe three season.  Oh well either way you have a hell of a boat.  The negative thing I can say about the boat is that after about a hour or two my legs have a tendency to fall asleep.  I keep my Epic around now mostly as a “friend” boat.  I have a Cape Horn 170  in glass that is my  primary boat.  I love that boat, it has awesome stability and great tripping capabilities.  Though next year I have my sights set on a Tempest 180 in glass.

Kayaking with a Kite!!

Here are a couple of pictures I was able to snap off while trying to keep the kite in the air.  I managed to get a couple of rides in.  I found out that having a sea anchor is very important in getting the kite to fly.
